Ten units are affected by the update. Among these units, we have the Little Prince, Goblins, Guards, Golden Knight, and the Archer Queen.
Clash Royale Unit Updates
The Little Prince gets a little nerf. The unit loses 9% damage and 11% guardian hit points. However, this does not change its behavior in the arena. This is all thanks to the team the Prince makes with the Guardian. This tank and DPS party is still very strong. The use of Champions should be more balanced due to the buffs of units such as the Archer Queen and Golden Knight. The Queen gets an additional 0.5 seconds to the duration of her Cloaking Cape. The Golden Knight receives 8% more dashing damage. These buffs will make the units more desirable.
Now, let’s move on to the other units. The goblins have their deploying time increased by 0.2 seconds. You will have a bit more time to counter them and they will do less damage if they are quickly targeted. The Royale Recruits evolution had its charge damage reduced by 8%. This update should balance things as their charge damage was too big sometimes. The Archer evolution has changed too. The range loses 8% and the power shot range loses 10%. The total range is a bit lower, however, this has no impact on the power shot window. The Giant Skeleton becomes more bony with 6% more hit points. This buff should allow it to get to the tower more often.
The Guards gain 7% more shield hit points. This is done to improve their usage. The shield will hold two arrow volleys. The players should take advantage of this buff to use the unit for strategic defense. The Bomber does 3% more damage. You will notice that the increase is enough to defeat the Barbarian in three hits now. Before the update, it took four hits. The Cannoneer received an update as well. Its sight range was increased. It is now equal to the Princess Tower. The Cannoneer will shoot as far as the Princess now. This will happen when it is in the middle of the arena. Among these unit updates, we also have an update for the Rage spell. Its duration was decreased from six seconds to five and a half. This spell was used too many times with the meta cards. The goal is to make it a little less popular and make room for other spells and combinations.
The latest Clash Royale maintenance takes care of some annoying bugs. The Years Played Badge will now show the correct progress.
